After
six years at Brooklands, the UK's popular all Italian car event had
moved on to Stanford Hall for 2001. The all new Italian Car Festival was held
over the weekend of Saturday June 9th and Sunday June 10th.
Saturday
June 9th was the Fiat National Day as well as the Maserati Club annual
concours and on Sunday the Alfa Romeo Owners Club held their
National Alfa Day.
The
Fiat Motor Club (GB) National Day was well attended by members from all
over the country. A grass trials course was laid out by us and was
attempted (although not very successfully!) by a number of members.
Our
next national event took place on July 29th at
Donnington Park where Auto Italia magazine had their track
day. |
