Treasure Hunt - Surrey

The Treasure Hunt in Surrey was arranged my Jan and Jimmy Di Carlo and took place on Sunday the 14th of April, 2002. The meeting place and starting point was on the A3 Southbound carriageway in the car park of the Little Chef South of the A3/M25 Junction.

By the 10.30 a.m. starting time a variety of cars turned up for the event and  it seemed that 'small was beautiful' on that day with a selection of 500s, Cinquecentos and Seicentos making up the majority of the cars.

The 52 mile route took everyone through some of the nicest parts of Surrey and West Sussex  using mainly minor roads. As well as navigating the correct route, participants had the tasks of collecting 'treasures', finding the answers to clues and taking two simple driving tests midway through the run.

Below are some photographs of the day. Click on the small pictures to view them full size. Use your Browser's "Back" button to return to this page.
