The International Classic Motor Show is one of the longest established and most successful events in the
Classic Calendar and currently ranks among the top classic shows
in Europe.
With over 170 Car Clubs present and 400 trade and display stands
the show was big enough this year to take on another hall (3A)
at the NEC. The show usually delivers a truly
massive and diverse display of the finest examples of classic
motorcars from around the world ever likely to be seen together
under one roof and it certainly did not disappoint this
year.
The Fiat Motor Club (GB) stand had six cars on display with a strong
2300 presence. One side of the stand was adorned by three 2300s:
a Saloon, an Estate and a Coupe all of which attracted many
admiring glances and especially the 2300 Coupe. A number of
people were surprised that the cars were Fiats!
The other
side of the stand had a 130 Coupe, a 125 Special and a
1500L.
All the cars on display at the Fiat Motor Club (GB)
stand created an enormous amount of interest, and we had more
people tramping round the stand than we have had for years. |
