2006 Christmas Get together

This year saw the twelfth anniversary of this ever popular event with 46 Fiat Motor Club and Alfa Romeo Owners Club members and friends taking part including some new faces. People travelled from as far away as Glasgow, Stockport, Kent, Newcastle, Lincolnshire and the Midlands to join in another action packed weekend.

The event took place on December 2nd / 3rd at the Crown Hotel in Scarborough were we all met up on the Saturday afternoon. On the evening we enjoyed an excellent meal and disco party into the early hours.

On the Sunday morning following breakfast we set off in our Italian convoy. Our now legendary route took us to Pickering, across the North Yorkshire Moors to Goathland (the recent heavy rain made for some careful negotiation of several deep fords) and on to the picturesque coastal village of Robin Hoods Bay for light refreshments.

We continued on to Whitby were we had the best Fish and Chips in the whole wide world at the famous Magpie café.

A special mention goes to FMC members Paul and Margerat Chappell who kindly donated four large boxes of car valeting goodies for a tombola.

The 2007 event takes place on December 1st / 2nd at the Crown Hotel, Scarborough.
