This
Production Car Event was the first the Club has entered as a club and
certainly the first one I have attended. I can only
describe it as an Auto Test in three stages, conducted on
mostly uphill terrain around a flag marked course. It was
held on Sunday 21st April, 2002, at Meopham in Kent. On the day
the weather was perfect, but I should think that things might
get a might tricky on a wet surface. There was plenty of wheel spin as
it was.
It
was just as well that conditions were kind as our lads and lasses had
about as much a degree of difficulty as they in their unpracticed
state could manage. Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves and it was a
very good event - the next one is in November so perhaps some of
us will have mastered the handbrake turn by then!
