The
Fiat Motor Club (GB) had a fine collection of vehicles on display
covering Classes E, F and G.
As
it has become tradition with the Chiltern Hills Rally, there was a road
run of about 25 miles through delightful Chiltern countryside and
started from
Aylesbury Railway Station from 8.30 a.m.
Full use of the Railway Station car park was given to the Rally
contestants, thanks to Chiltern
Railways, and the Station Buffet was open for refreshments.
The Station car park became a car show of its own as cars gathered to
take part in the run.
All
exhibitors at the show were presented with a die-cast model of an
Austin A35 Van. Only 1000 of these high quality, limited edition,
collectible models were produced. They were made by Lledo specifically
for the Chiltern Hills Rally and each model was individually numbered.
