The
2002 AutoItalia Festival held at Brooklands Motor Museum on 27/28 July
was brilliant in every sense. The weather was perfect, the cars
magnificent and the atmosphere great. The new hill climb with a quick
dash round the houses gave an added touch. The crowds this year were not
as big as in previous years which made the whole thing better for the
visitor, if a little disappointing for the organisers. The Fiat Motor
Club was well represented with people coming long distances to attend.
Chris Fairbank would probably have won if we had a prize for the
furthest travelled, but we didn't.
